Sewer Manholes and Diagnosis for sanitation work (Tunnel Liner)

Sewer manholes.

Design and verification of sewer manholes, ensuring their proper functioning. Verification includes crack width, stresses in reinforcement, flexural strength in plates and slabs, shear, soil stresses, and settlements, among other aspects.

Diagnosis for sanitation work: Tunnel Liner

Structural and geotechnical verification of the tunnel lining. An analytical approach and Finite Element Method (#FEM) simulations were employed, considering various conditions for the structural behavior. A rigorous evaluation and soil study was imperative to ensure the safety of a pre-existing waterway beneath the new construction.
